Loathe as I am to criticise an obviously sincere offering, it has to be said that some of the songwriting is weak, "Jesus Rebel" for instance tries to be a rockabilly-tinged Southern gospel romp but doesn't work while the production, all shrill sibilance and tacky drum programming.
